Jaco Burmeister (LLB)
Jaco obtained his LLB degree in 2003 at the University of Pretoria whereafter he
became a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. He completed his
articles and School for Legal Practice (post-graduate) in 2004 and was admitted as
Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2005. Jaco has been a director of Lubbes
Trust since 2009 and is also a practicing attorney and director of Burmeister Attorneys
Inc. He specialises in the drafting of wills, administration of deceased estates and
trusts (inter vivos and mortis causa). Jaco is also a member of the Fiduciary Institute
of South Africa

Annemarie de Lange
Annemarie obtained her degree, AIPSA (DIP) at the University of Pretoria and her
certificate in Estate Administration through UNISA. Annemarie is also a member of the
Fiduciary Institute of South Africa and has 15 years’ extensive experience in estate
administration and estate planning and has a passion for everything involved in the
field. Annemarie joined Lubbes Trust in 2015 and joined the leadership team from
beginning of 2021.

Alwyn van Zyl
Alwyn has attended various HR courses and workshops over the last 15 years. He
acted as HR Manager for four years at his previous employment and is also a qualified
payroll administrator with 10 years’ experience. Alwyn has been administering estates
full time for the last 9 months and has more than 20 years’ experience in general office
administration and knowledge on various aspects of the estate administration process.
Alwyn is currently the financial administrator for Lubbes Trust.

Rieke Schutte
Rieke did a diploma in estate administration through UNISA as well as a paralegal
course while working for lawyer before joining the team at Lubbes Trust. She started
as a junior estate and trust administrator and with her 6 years’ experience has grown
and established herself as a dedicated and passionate senior estate administrator.

Elmarie Vermaak
Elmarie has a national diploma in secretarial services and did her estate administration
course in 2014. She joined Lubbes Trust in 2003 and have been appointed as senior

Nicolene Frauendorf
Nicolene obtained a Conveyancing Practice Diploma Certificate in 2002. She started
her career in the field of conveyancing in 1999 and has since attained 20 years of
priceless knowledge and experience in this field. Nicolene was appointed as Senior
Conveyancing Secretary at Burmeister Attorneys from July 2019. Her responsibilities
are, the drafting of transfer documents, attending to the registration processes of
properties and finalising the finance process regarding property transfers. She also
assists the Notary in respect of Antenuptial Contracts and other notarial documents.

working at RMB Private Bank/FNB Private Clients’ head office as a fiduciary associate
and while working at the bank, did her post-graduate diploma in financial planning parttime. She worked for 4 years obtaining experience in the administration of trusts and
estate planning and joined the Pretoria team as fiduciary specialist where she worked
4 more years in both offices assisting clients in estate and succession planning. She
joined Lubbes Trust in 2021 as trust administrator.

knowledge in the litigation of third party claims as well as experience in the
management of teams to obtain the goals of clients and companies alike. Donna has
joined Lubbes Trust in January 2022 and is now a part of a great team in assisting
families during the administration of their lost loved one’s estates.
